Obituary

Willie Ryals, Sr. was born to the parentage of the late Joseph Newkirk and Mattie Lee Mincey Ryals on Feburary 10,1949. He answered the Master's call to rest from all his labor on January 10,2022.
Willie enlisted in the United States Army and served his country faithfully for twenty years. Willie retired and moved back to Jesup, Georgia and made Jesup his home. He was loved by his family and enjoyed hosting family events at his home. He was also instrumental in assisting with organizing the Ryals Reunion for the last few years.
Willie was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Newkirk and Mattie Lee Mincey Ryals; siblings: Clarence Ryals, Thomas Ryals, Mose Ryals, Henry Ryals,Sr, John Ryals, Sr., Roger RyalsAldean Reynolds, Carrie Lee Morris, Essie Mae Hamlett, Joe Newkirk, Jr., Jeremiah Newkirk, Jenellie Bryant, Avon Cook , Claudie Mae Newkirk, Pearlie Jones, Erlyne Martin, Wilbur Newkirk, Glona Wood, Tommie Newkirk, and Martha Newkirk.
Loving memories of Willie will ne cherished by his children: Willie Arthur Ryals, Christopher Ruben Ryals, Patrick Ryals, and Antonia V. Ryals, all of Augusta, Georgia; Grandson Kaleb Jamal Ryals of Augusta, Georgia ; Sisters: Susie Mae Buxton and Elaine Solomon, both of Baxley, Georgia, Bernice Hepburn of Eustin, Florida, Rosa Lee Ryals of Gren Cove Springs, Florida, and Wonnie Newkirk Shields of Jacksonville, Florida. Lasting memories will also be cherished by a hoost of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
